Default My Ebel: custom restore by gssixgun

I found this Ebel languishing with busted scales. I traded gssixgun a couple of razors to clean it up and build these scales. Bolivian Rosewood, silver pins, brass washers and a honey horn wedge. These are his pics, except for the "before". I'm fairly new to straights, but this is a revelation. I've got to learn to get them this sharp with my own stropping!

It's a 6/8, I should add. I found Glen through this forum, and I will not hesitate to use him in the future! He was very responsive to my questions and his workmanship is top notch.

Yeah if he pays attention and keeps at this, he just might amount something. Glen does great work, I have a couple I keep saying I need to send to him.

Who would have guessed that Glen was an "in the closet" transformers nerd...

He didn't include it in the package I haven't looked at too many of his pics, but I wondered how this razor inspired the background.

I admit to being a Christmas Toy Geek, I get one "Toy" every Christmas, I was hinting at a Indoor / Outdoor RC helicopter but Santa brought the Transformer instead...

You only get old when you stop getting toys for Christmas
