John Heiffor Army in Ivory. Red, White and Blue wedge.
Here's a John Heiffor, with "Made for the Army" stamped on rear. Rescaled in ivory, micromesh to 12000 inboard and out. The red white and blue wedge is g10 for red and blue, with ivory in the center. Pinned with nickel silver rod and collars are nickel silver, made and stamped by SRP member Geezer.
The collars were amazing to use. Being hollow, similar idea as the old Sheffield washers were. During assembly, placed two washers underside of them. Took surprisingly few taps, and wedge side was tight. Same thing at pivot side. Seems the wider area, with pressure points at outer edges due to being hollow, distributes the pressure more efficiently. Feels like a much more solid pinning than solid washers, where all the force is at the pin area. I look forward to using the brass ones I got, to see if similar results. Seems those old Sheffield collars intended to do more than look pretty.

Super nice! The clean white scales are well set off by the amazing wedge! Kudos to Geezer on his collars! (want some!) the blade finish is awesome. Being a big Heiffor fan, I am very impressed. NOW.......what do the symbols mean on the reverse tang? I MUST know!
An excellent job in fit, finish, and design as always! Impressive Razor! Tom"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
