Custom Jadite Scorpion 8/8+ on Stand
Hello,
Finished this one with the stand up a few days ago. I was going for the perched "ready to strike" scorpion theme here. Scales are g10 jade green. Steel is O1. Went with a good hollow on this one, 1/2'ish On the nose pin, I used stainless rod and brass tubing for making the basic mosaic pattern. Stainless hex head pivot. The stand is a peice of burl/knot? not sure what type of wood. Have a few of these laying around here. Felt that this one fit the bill. A little sanding and work on the magnetic holder at the tail and voila!
Have a great Week !
Best Regards Ken

Absolute work of art that pushes the limit Ken. What's not to like about original form and serious function. Stunning creation that could certainly sting in the wrong hands.
