Default Shumate Barber, 1st go at acrylic

Welllll...for some time now I've been musing about trying different mediums, hence the horn threads a couple weeks ago. This is my first run at acrylic. This is my Shumate Barber, which I love dearly. I buffed her on 600 grit and that's it. The scales are called Comet, and I went 220 to 12k. Tried buffing them after 12k with Fabulustre just to see what happened....and it worked great. Bone wedge, brass hardware (I like the bolt as a pivot on my own razors).

    Thanks for looking.

That's a good looking one cool pattern in the acrylic.

Where did you get the acrylic from?

The acrylic came from Pen kit, pen mandrel, pen bushing, pen blanks, wood pens

Nice Maxi. I really like the satin finish over the mirror polish. That finish looks very classy to me.

The Tiki doll though reminds me of a cheap horror movie that scared the hell out of me as a kid.

Fabulous, Maxi. 'Never tried acrylic. You make it look good.

Shumate barbers are wonderful. 'Wish they made some larger sizes. Each one I've had (7) has been excellent - comparable to the Gencos.

'hope you're proud of this one - its really nice.

I normally am not a big fan of the patterned acrylics, but these are really nice. Good job!
