    I like the porosity on the bone. I think it compliments the soft texture of he fine pits you left in the blade. I have a few razors like that too. But I don't mind the texture they leave in the metal.

    Things don't have to be perfectly smooth & shiny to be attractive.

    I completely agree Ray! I try to let the blade guide me as to what to do for it. I have some that are mirror, satin, and pitina'd. all depends on what I feel like at the moment. I've found when I try to force my will on a blade it will sometimes say no.
