    Is there a possibility of repairing the scales ?

    They're stable but the back scale is split in several places across the bottom pin.

    I actually think they'll hold up forever unless I abuse the thing but I really like to keep the razors in my rotation looking as good as they can. Plus the horn I have has a nice silver grain to it and it's just asking to be paired with this blade.

    That IS a big one for a pipe razor. I am sure it will shave like a dream! Nice job.

    Looks great. The blade looks great, as do the scales. I like the though of retaining the original scales for the history (JMHO)
