    Default Taylors 1000 restoration

Well finished this yesterday, and must say i'm very pleased with the outcome, i've had two of these off a chap that keeps his eyes open for me, and the both had no wedge but a faux ivory spacer, which i'm no fan of so replaced that with a faux ivory wedge, but both were honest in need of restoration but untouched which i like, I changed my washer and pin set up for this razor, I went for a larger brass washer with a small stainless steel washer on top and a nickel silver pin, but this razor did clean up really well, but also tested my patients in trying to get the blade centred, believe me I must have put the blade on and off at least 10 times with a minor adjustment everytime before i nailed it. anyway without further ado the photo's.

    Jamie.

That's beautiful. I especially like the pin arrangement. Well done.

Beautifully restored Jamie. It looks like a million buck mate. Well done.
