Default "Ear of Corn" Torrey Restoration

Nice work on this forum! Great work shown!

To relieve "restoration boredom" I frequently try different things. I had seen a page out of an old Torrey catalogue and realized that they offered an "Ear of Corn razor back in the day. I unpinned the Devon blade from this set and painted them up as best I could. I had finally found a home for this Torrey "Celebrated" 6/8+ blade! Pinned it in with a brass pin and collars. A fun project and a nice (and different) addition to my rotation AND a sweet shaver to boot!
    Thanks for looking, Tom

Remember, never use mineral oil on that blade. Always use butter.

Its a wonderful blade selection Tom, and a great paint job as well.
I guess you dont have to worry about those scales slipping out of your hand during a shave.
    You killed it, Well Done!!!
