    Default Johan Engstrom Frameback Restore

Cheap auction buy, and I was looking for a frameback. I have not had the opportunity to shave with it yet, but I hear they are decent razors. I've done a little research online and each similar razor I find has "Philadelphia" inscribed where this one has "International". Anybody know about this razor? The scales are from another blade that is shot, I believe I broke the originals when de-pinning the razor.

Wow, the blade has come up well. nicely done.

It looks like you still have a little chip near the toe. This might hone out, but I would think you will need to get it out before shaving.

Yes sir there is a little chip, I'm hopeful I can hone it out without much worry.

Just a progression of wet sanding up to 2000, then a polish with mother's. Its certainly not perfect like others on this site but if the date on it is right - 1876 - then I suppose Im ok with that. Thanks for your comments.
