Wrong scales, Broken point, Chipped blade... I honestly told him I wouldn't invest the money, but it is after all an Heirloom razor, so we went forward.. I know if I were fortunate enough to have an Heirloom blade I would probably do everything I could also...

Scales: Amber Flame acrylic I chose this color as I have always felt it lends a vintage look

    Wedge: Faux Ivory

    Pins: Brass

    Washers: Brass

Fixed up the point, and managed to save all the stamps too, polished out to a pretty darn good satin with just a couple of battle scars left but ya gotta look hard

Hones: Chosera 1k, Henckels 1-3-8, Thuringen

    Thanks for looking

    Nice save!

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

    AWESOME !!!

You know I love to see the old ones get brought back to life.

This one was given a new lease on life with exceptional class. Beautiful as the day she was made just a little older. Love the scale choice. It really gives it a nice vintage look to it.

Beautiful work. Snatched another one from the grave Glen. I would never have guessed the original state without the before pics. Well done
