Default Pattern Welded BLade & White MIcarta

Here is a blade I finished the blade is 75 layers of 1095 & 15n20. The blade is about 15/16 wide. The scales are white micarta, it is actually old Westing House micarta. I usually use micarta as a generic term like xerox, I just thought it was interesting to use the brand name stuff. I am easily interested.

I like it Charlie. The white micarta really makes the patterned steel "pop".

Charlie, that razor is magnificent. I really like what you did with texture on the tang. Was it hand hammered?

The tang and spine were textured with a die grinder. The razor was forged to shape then after rough grinding and heat-treating, I textured the tang and spine with a die grinder.

Love it Charlie. The micarta is really nice, and the rough finish compliments the Damascus pattern perfectly.

Charlie that is just a great combination of materials and your unique vision as a craftsman. Someone is going to add
a work of art to their rotations. Nice!

That's beautiful. I love the battle-axe shape to the blade.
