    Default 7/8s - Black & Red MIcarta

Here is one I finished up. The blade is 1095 and 15n20, it is forged to shape. The scales are black and red linen micarta. I like the way the lines came out on this one, it looks light and whispy but it is really a 7/8s chopper.

edit: I just want to publicly thank Mike Blue for having the pattern welded steel workshop. I have been having fun with the chunks of steel I bought home form the class.

    That piece is quite exceptional

Wonderful details on it, and flowing lines.
    Rustic, yet very elegant.
Customs like this makes me realize, I need more of them, plenty more!

    Beautiful work Charlie.

Is this more of the steel you made at mike blues workshop or have you been making more pattern welded since then?

Yes, it is the steel from the workshop.

Charlie, I really like the way the swayback narrows in the middle, and is wider at the toe and heel. It gives it a really elegant and fragile look.

Lovely work once again, Charlie. Wow. Stunning look to both the blade and the micarta scales.
