Here is the last one I was able to finish this weekend. It's in an acrylic called Midnight, which I'm really really liking.
This is a 6/8 stainless steel Sanssouci. I polished off the goldwash, and on this one I buffed out the etch to give it a clean look. Nickel silver hardware keeps this one all silver and black. There is quite a bit of depth to the swirl in this acrylic.

I see why you like those scales. Does look like alot of depth to them. Alot of blades look better without the goldwash. For some just seems to flashy where as some just don't look the same without it IMHO.

Thanked: 1072I've used some of the midnight acrylic, and its hard to make photos do it justice, it really is good lookin stuff.
