Thanked: 170Cousin projects remind me of the good times I had many years ago building streetrods with my cousin Staf. He is falling into the dark basement of Alzheimers - glad to have those good memories. Your razor turned out beautiful. I have two 1056's - one with a broken tip and new cocobolo scales, and one all original - both excellent shavers. Enjoy.

Thanked: 6Absolutely beautiful! Old Bokers are my favorite vintage blades. I have one identical to this but in maple scales with double pins on the end. Yours look much nicer. Congrats.

Thank you. I have around 1/2 dozen razors from Boker, Thiers, Dovo, Wades and others. I still feel this 5/8 1056 gives an equal, or better shave. This razor takes an amazing edge and the handling/ balance is superb.
