Boker 1056 Bling
I decided to give an old Boker 1056 a new lease on life. I wish I could take credit for the build, but giving credit where credit is due my cousin (Ryan Smith) did a hell of a job! The scales are black palm and antler wedge.

Thanked: 51I've got a piece of black palm that I'm using to make a knife handle. I hope mine turns out as nicely as your scales did.

I'm sure they will. Black palm has such a great grain pattern. He used 12 coats of cv on the scales. I can't wait to start on my 9/8 Wade I found yesterday.

Thanked: 9Thanks for all of the complements...it means alot to here good things about my work. Just wanted to give you guys some details on what went into this razor...the pins are nickle silver, and the washers are stainless steel that has been thined down. It has brass bearings, I used aluminum on the sides of the deer antler wedge. The scales and the wedge are both stabalized.I also honed the razor so it was shave ready...hope you enjoyed seeing the razor, more to come!!!
