So a while back I was at Dllandry's house making some strops. He handed me a razor to restore for him, and then gave me a second one. The second one he gave me had a monster crack. About a third of the way off the heal, and about 3/16's long. Sort of in a place where you can't really grind it out without it just functioning as a nice letter opener. So I though maybe I'd try something.
I've been fiddling with it for a couple weeks in between other restores. Five minutes here, five minutes there.
Here's a series of pics showing what I came up with.
