Tiger 49 in Abalone imitation
This razor came with really loose scales, which made stropping and honing a real challenge. Over time I tried several times to tighten the pin, and finally cracked the scales revealing a severly bent pin.
Anyways this is celluloid abalone, and im extremely happy with the way it turned out.
Thanks for looking

I would be happy too. It turned out nicely. I've cracked alot of scales trying to tighten pins, but found I was smashing them alittle hard.

Love the scales, they look great. As a side note, when I get a migraine the pattern in my vision is almost exactly the pattern in your scales.
