These are extremly fun to hone, there's a reason that my goto razor for testing hones is the Gotta. Like you say they almost hone themselves (And takes a great edge)

Hehe, best of luck. IMHO, the Gottas are superb and a sleeper brand, they are super hollow and very similar to Filarmonica EPBD's.
