    Or maybe I was just bored of seeing perfection at every turn...

    Funny thing is that this ugly duckling shaves with the best of them. This is functional art fellahs. Enjoy!

    popsicle stick handle, rubber band and microfastener hardware...A little bit of regrinding practice...This is way more fun than trying to make something perfect!

    Well... um... can you move the rubber bands down to bend the "scales" back? or does it get used like that?

    The rubber bands aren"t just for looks, they are so you can get a good grip when wet and soapy.

    Yep. I use it just like you see it. They aren't really scales...More like a handle...but even more like two popsicle sticks wrapped with a rubber band.

    Ah that explains it. I couldn't see how to close the razor without cutting the bands
