Mighi-gane Stick Tang
I have been tinkering with my Lake Superior sand, smelted, Michi-gane. This blade has 0.70% Carbon as opposed to my usual 0.95% Carbon. I have heard that Yoshindo Yoshihara prefers 0.70% for his swords. So, I figured I should try it.
This razor is a quick stick tang construction to see how I like the shave of this batch of steel. It has a nice hamon that you can't see in the photo. Someday, I will have to learn how to take good hamon photos
This is my first stick tang razor. I had so much fun making it, that I plan on making stick tangs a regular part of my production. They are simple enough, and faster to make. There will be a substantial price discount compared to my regular razors. I would like to thank Charlie Lewis, and the Japanese, for the inspiration.
The shave was really good. It whacked off a five day beard with my usual 2 1/2 pass shave. I will use it a couple more times before I send it off to one of my razor testers.

Simple, clean and efficient looking Tim. It will be interesting for us to be able to watch as you
develop this style and bring them into your lineup. I see new folks becoming Zowada users. : )

Straight-forward design. Elegant in its simplicity and visually captivating. The clean, no-nonsense approach works well for this one. Obviously meant to be used and not just displayed. Excellent work!
