Default W&B Good As "Gold", M3 That Is...

I have today for your viewing pleasure an 8/8 Wade And Butcher I purchased from a local barber. I tried my hand at bringing the blade up from 320 – 2000 grit, when I was not able to achieve what I was looking for I called in Max. He did a superb job on the regrind. As for the scales I had Bestsilversteel make them from Mokume Gane Black & Gold Burl, Mammoth Ivory wedge and he used the original bullseye washers that I ran for 8 hours in my brass tumbler. I could not be happier with the way it turned out and the shave is amazing! Enjoy.

Thank you. The barber has a dozen or so razors on display, I can't tell you how happy I was when he said he would entertain an offer. A beautiful razor like this needs to be used not on display.

Very well done. That razor can look forward to several hundred more years of service. Beautiful job.

Thanks, I can't wait till I can make it up to show the barber his "old" razor. I'm sure it will make him very happy to see what we have done for it.
