Default Vintage Restoration G.Myers & Boker

These are a lovely pair of vintage razors i've just fininshed for a TSR forum member in the UK, a G.Myers & Sons Sheffield razor which came to me in the usual state, broken scales rust staining and obvious no edge, well she was given the works including a new pair of three pin vintage scales i just so luckily had lying around my work space, i'm more than pleased with the finished razor, next up we have a really lovely early vintage Boker with super looking original scales, which as any restorer will tell you when the owner wants to keep them always makes me nervous, because they have been stting along side the blade for maybe 60 or 70 years you have no idea how the material as faired over that time but with heart in mouth the came off OK, but i'm still pretty nervous when re pinning them back together, but pleased to say the blade and scales restored up beautifully.

    Jamie.

    That'd be me.

Here's the photos of how they started (when I bought them off of ebay) so that people can see what a difference Jamie has made to them:

Jamie, two great looking restores. I really like the way the 'winged' scales cleaned up. Well done.
    Congrats to the owner.
