    Default Set of two Solingen str8s in Kingwood

    Hi,

    What would you say of this:

    1. Carl Rader 7/8", 1/2 Hollow Ground;

    2. Hugo Herbertz 4/8", 1/2 Hollow Ground.

    New scales in Kingwood with CA finish, nickelsilver pins and wedges.

    Ridiculously handsome, Vaga. 'Just beautiful. 'Would be nice to hear how you created the nameplates.

    I would say they are stunning straight razors.

    Great work, love the Kingwood scales. I see it is in the Rosewood family, did you have to wash in acetone prior to applying the CA? How many coats? Does Kingwood take plain wax like Brazilian Rosewood?

    Very nice work and scale design.

    Those look great! Would you mind sharing your sanding progression, and you use a dremel or buffing wheels, etc? I've been getting into restoring lately but am having trouble bringing my blades to a true mirror finish.
