Cool W&B "The Celebrated" FBU in Horn

This one is heading home to Craig

One full inch of of beautiful Sheffield steel left with a rich even almost black Patina.
We did some tricks on the Black Buffalo Horn Scales, Craig asked for a third pin but no actual pin so I used a 1/8 inch Gold acrylic rod to tie in with the Amber wedge.. I countersunk one side and locked it in with Acra-Glass Gel it should be there to stay
I used Tri-Metal pins and washers for the bullseye look..
    Horn was polished with 3M cloths 400, 600, 1200, 4k, 6k, 8k then Ren-Wax

    Honing:
Chosera 1k , BBW, Coticule finish

Very nice G and I particularly like preserving the patina it took 150 years to acquire. The scales are like the originals too. First rate !

Glen, you have skills other men would spend 2 lifetimes to acquire -- I'm one of them. I bow at your feet, Sir!

Very nice. I have to agree with the patina. Some razors just look better when they look their age. I am curious as to the thickness of the spine. If that hammer is like most others than it is rather thick.

Nice work once again G-man! And you are correct, that is a great patina on that blade. You served her well

Another great razor back on the line, to shave again.
