    Default Hope Cutlery

This one belongs to a new Aussie member , Mcduck. I have him to thank for the before pics as I always neglect that part.
I was 50/50 on going ahead with it but an initial bevel set looked promising. It was carefully un pinned & started at 400 grit.
Such a thin grind I couldn't start coarser but enough rust was removed & good steel was eventually found at the edge.
Scales got a light buff with the Novus 1,2,3 system & re- pinned.
    Viola !

Wow, that's amazing! And that is one nice looking razor. That should serve Mcduck very well.

Very nice, great finish on the blade, and nice looking scales.

Excellent looking razor. I like the finish that came out on the blade. Very nice restoration.

+ 1, very nicely done! Was the tang area in good nick (if not it's extremely well done) and that kind of scales can be hard (picky) to clean, I guess!?
