Default Real Wedge 115w8 (7/8) and pear tree

    A real wedge
115w8, oil hardened (810°c keeped during 10mn , 2* tempered to170°c. Chasse Pear tree wood for the handle. That is a tree that was in my garden before the house build.
Ilt's really long to the sharpening, but the result is not bad at all. The shaving is not perfectly smooth now, i have some leather work to do. The after shave heated a bit the skin, but the BBS was obtain in two stroke easily

Pretty great looking! I'm on the five year plan for making my own razor. I figure if some of these guys have been around for twenty years or more, then 5 years is still a short term goal.

I really like the blade. It has a very elegant style to it, specifically the round-ish toe. Beautiful work.

Good looking blade design and using peach wood is definitely different. It came together very nicely. Some very fine skills you have.
