Thanked: 20Kropp - some of Zephyr's handiwork
Hey guys-
I had to show off some of Rune's work! He rescaled this old Kropp with some deep blue linen micarta scales (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong Zephyr). It is awesome.
Check out the 'wedge'. It's a little tough to see in the picture. But it is actually 2 sets of washers, one a little wider than the other, to create a wedge like shape. Really neat and creative! On top of the looks, the thing shaves awesomely! It feels like I'm not even shaving with it and the whiskers just fall off! Love this thing.
Great work Rune, thanks again!!

Very nice - I love the washer wedge idea!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 20Ahaa!! That makes sense Rune. I love that layered look. In the pictures, I initially thought it was black, but in real life, the blue really shows through nicely. It's very regal - I must say.
And yes, I will definitely be enjoying it for a long time!

That is a beauty nice razor and great craftsmanship. At first I did not notice the blue highlights, then I looked again and now I can not help but see it, it is a subtle accent that really makes the scales.
