My first restauration project. Hans Linz - Solingen Wald
Hello all,
I picked up some old and rusted razors because I wanted to have something to fill my evening. So I wanted to do some restorations.
My first one is a Hans Linz (Stahlwarenfabrik) I think the maker is Wald Solingen (stated on the box)
I only use sandpaper and lots of elbow grease. So no grinders or buffers.
Started sanding on 80 grit (dry sandpaper) because the store I went to did not have the wet/dry paper (only from 240 up to 1500)
This is how the razor looked before I started.

A vast improvement and I'm sure it will only get better from here. I just had to post so I can follow the restoration. Best of luck and looking forward to more photos as you progress.

Thank you all. At the moment I'm at 320 grit. The only difference at the moment is less scratches. Will get sandpaper up to 1500 today and finish it with some polish.
Pics at 320 grit.
