Glen, the lovely bride, here, makes jewelry (carving wax, casting, stonesetting). I'm trying to press her into an esoteric one called Plique a jour. I've been drug through a few shows, and never thought to scan for scale/razor hardware. Excellent idea.
.
'Tried some stirling 'beads', that look similar to the center spacer. The issue I had was that the hole was more sized for thread than pinning rod.

That Friodur turned out great, Glen, especially the filed wedge. Looks like you ditched the metal backers to get the filing work done right tho.

Thanked: 13245Yeppers good eye I finished it all up and after all that slow tedious work with the Magmifiers, I put it together and you couldnt' even see the liners, in fact the only way I knew that it had liners, was the sharp points that were catching everything So I pulled it back apart ditched the liners cleaned the Ivory and voila'

I received this razor today as a surprise when I returned from college, and I absolutely love it, thanks for the great work. Shaved with it this morning, its a heirloom piece for sure.

The razor above was actually only the first of a Family Legacy
in Dec I built the second one
Finally now in March I just finished the third one
These are for my friend Don up in Alsaka and his two sons all three were built as close to each other as I could manage...
