Thanked: 44BIG George Brittain (and comparatively small John Barber) Restorations
Two new additions to my collection: A much anticipated 10/8 George Brittain full hollow in the curliest curly koa I've ever seen (seriously 3D in person), with a sterling silver wedge in brass pins. The second is a 7/8 John Barber in some crazy box elder burl, ivory wedge, lined in ebony, with gold pins. The GB is finished in CA and the JB is done in epoxy resin. I didn't give either blade a full restore on the buffers they are pretty much as I found them. Last picture is the 10/8 George Brittain next to its 9/8 baby brother (who is now up for adoption I might add Both shave wonderfully!

Thanked: 3224Sometimes it takes a big canvas to show off curly woods and it sure is and it sure did. Three great looking razors.

Very nice! Nothing like the natural products. All are one off pieces.

Thanked: 44It always amazes me that a mere 3/8" makes such a huge difference with these razors.
