    Sashimi....are you the one that bought that 12/8 GB off ebay a week ago for $620?

    No, I don't have that kind of money. I have my eye on the classifieds here on SRP, but that GB is even more. Can't afford it right now. If there would only be a way to pay in terms...
    This GB was bought quite a while ago from a local barbershop here in Holland. At a fair price if I may add. I have one more that I more or less "saved" for posterity, but haven't found the time to really get it right yet. Funny thing is that I thought these were really, really rare and now suddenly they seem to pop up like all over the place. Two on the Flea bay right now. One is probably a re-grind as I don't think back in those days they'd know how to make a bellied hollow blade, but hey, as long as it shaves right it's okay.

    They both look good and saving that broken scale was a nice bit of work too. If you unpin the Creswick in the future be sure and check for a bent tang. I have had to straighten a couple of tangs and they both have been on Sheffield blades.
