    The scales look great, well done. A tip I was given for Horn scales is to soak in Neatsfoot oil. Have you given that a go?

    No. Is that something I do after? What kinda oil is that and where would I get it lol?

    That looks really good! I am sorry I had to leave before you were completely finished!

    Neatsfoot oil is a yellow oil rendered and purified from the shin bones and feet (but not the hooves) of cattle. "Neat" in the oil's name comes from an old name for cattle. Neatsfoot oil is used as a conditioning, softening and preservative agent for leather. Every so often you someone suggesting that you rub it on horn.

    You can buy it online like here Amazon.com: 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil, 8 oz: Pet Supplies That will last you the rest of your life and probably several generations beyond that.

    I got a bottle of neatfootsoil which will probably last the rest of my life.. PM me your address and I'll send you some in a vial.

    Oh it was diyguy's. He said on eBay or somewhere. Lol. He has a crap load of stuff and materials.
