Awesome job Nick. As I read your post I thought oh no ! he's gonna take off the original scales but the replacements really impressed me & the colour is reminiscent of the vintage Ducks or maybe blonde horn.

You really need very little pin exposed for a successful peen but hey for #1 you get 2 thumbs up from me.

    Thanks Oz!!

Yeah at first I just went wow! This S#*T is tough!!!! It blunted the blade completely within about 1cm of cutting and the blade was so hot that it burnt to touch haha. I woulda been buggered if I didnt get the dremel, especially as the only material I have for scales at the moment apart from one very small piece of acrylic that will do for a short blade, is another two sheets of G-10

How many Dremel discs did you break? Hope you weren't in stubbies & a singlet.

Haha I had a resporator and safety glasses on as well.....
Nah just had a normal pair of shorts and a regular shirt on with the protective gear on the face.

I was surprised, didnt break any disks or anything with the dremel. I used one of the metal cutting disks and it cut through like a hot knife through butter
