Not a good Idea to place a razor in a bathroom. Although I have had one in mine for 2 years (in a case, inside another box with those gel pack thing's). The rack in this case will be in a half bath, no shower, no tub, just the sink and toilet.

Great for the western style of razors! The Feather is looking for trouble.

Ah, makes sense. I'm looking for a better storage method for mine and that answers my question about where to put them...

Why couldnt it be mounted? Im sure it could easily have a back added and if you wanted to put it in the bathroom put a coat of marine varnish or two.

    Chris,
Depending on if you keep it in the bathroom or not I like the design, I'm currently in the process of making a razor rack very similar to that one except in bloodwood to match the brush rack I built.(half the fun is in building it)
The only thing that would make your making of that rack even better is to know your an Eagles fan? (not that it would actually change a single thing, I love the design either way)With more and more people on this site from Pa. Im hoping that Im surrounded by Eagles and not Steelers.(though not a bad thing and yes way off topic, so sorry everyone)While my location states where Im stationed I was born in Wilkesbarre Pa.
    Respectfully,
    Christian

Blood wood should be pretty sweet! We expect to see some pics when it's done!

Unfortunatly Christian, I am not a sports fan. But I do look forward to football season and all the bad-mouthing that goes on at work! I find it amusing, everyone talks as if they were the owner of the team.
I like watching motor sports, but don't follow anything, to know who's who.
I had some family that had relocated to Danville, Pa. (I believe close to where your from) when I was a kid and have since returned after retiring from their job.

Thank you for your service, Christian!!

Very nice rack! I think I will barrow on your design and make one from cedar as I have quite a few trees on the property that were killed in the ice storm 2 years ago. Guess I'll have to fire up the chainsaw and see what happens. I too save the little desicant packets that come in my meds and put them in with my razors, as it can get pretty humid here in Arkansas in the summer.
Any way...Beautiful display, Thank you for sharing.
