Default Custom Straight Razor 8/8 Enter the Dragon

    Hello,

Thought I would post a few photos of a razor that I just finished up. I decided to use a material that some of you may be aware of called, C-tek made by Composite Craft Inc. It was originally designed for the aircraft industry. Expensive stuff but has a very cool look to it. It can be a little tricky to work with at least as it pertains to razor scales. I am not sure it has been used for this purpose as of yet, scales that is. Perhaps this is the first. Anyway, the razor is 8/8 with a smile and made from o1 steel. There is some spine and tail file work, left the fire scale in the recesses for contrast. Decided to go for a 3D effect and made one side green and the other red. I think it looks pretty cool. Let me know what you think of it. I really enjoyed the shave.

    Have a good week!

    Best Regards, Ken

I really like the scale material as well, and the scale left in the recesses really sets it off.

Thanks for putting out here for us to admire.

At first I thought it was an Alex Jacques. Kinda small blade isn't it....?

I can't shave with anything less than 10/8th's.

    Just kidding....Nice work.

Everything is amazing. Love te design and vhoice of material and contact tone scales was a great idea. Only thing that throws me a off a little are the spines on the tail. They look incredible but in your opinion do they effect your grip? If so for better or worse? Cool idea either way.
