You said there is an imperfection but I can't even point it out. Where's Waldo has never been my game.

Ancient of times, yup, Adam was shaving with that razor. Great looking piece. Has to be one of my favorites so far. I will do your laundry for 10 years if you could make up another one for me.

Charlie, very nice, love the scales. Do you taper the pinholes for washerless pins?

Charlie, most impressive. The scales have my attention 'cause I've used box elder & liked it alot. I used 'as is'. Can you say any more about the dying? It brings a really different look to the wood.

I did not taper the holes. I used a #80 washer and mushroomed the pin to the same diameter as the washer. This is the razor I used in my last pinning video.

I bought the wood that way, it is dyed several times and stabilized. I ordered the wood from Faron Moore.

Charlie, Thank You. I've not dyed wood before & was curious how you went about that. If you'd want to keep that to yourself, I understand. I sure turned out stunning.

Charlie, it’s Ok if you don’t want to tell us your “secret” dying process…

This reminds me of when my grandson was about 4 and we were getting ice-cream. He said “I like Pistachio Peanut Ice Cream”. My son said, ”You mean Pistachio Nut, Ice Cream”. My grandson said “Yes, Dad, that’s what I said, Pistachio Peanut Ice Cream”… You mean Pistachio Nut”. “That’s what I said, Dad.
They went on for a couple of minutes while I fell off the bench laughing.
