    Default Damascus and Box Elder

This one is 75 layer of 1095 & 15n20, the blade is about an 8/8s. The scales are dyed and stabilized box elder. There is a fault in the one of the welds you can see it on one side of the tang. I kinda of like the way the fault looks, it adds character.

Very pleasing to the eye. Looks like you will get a man-sized shave out of that one. Great work.

The finished blade and scales materials match up perfectly. I love this one Charlie. Of course I am crazy about all of your razors. Thanks for sharing.

I used an Evenheat kiln and Parks 50 quench oil. I normalized, did a few grain refinement cycles, quenched, tempered twice.

Oh, Charlie!! I'm really drawn to this one! It looks like something that you would find in the bottom of an old spider web covered trunk. The choice of materials and, oh heck, everything. I love this rustic looking razor!!!

    Best Regards,

    Howard

Great looking razor mate. Layered steel always looks magic. Love the combination of the steel and timber grain. Nice choice of materials.
