My son is in college also. He restores razors in his spare time. All hand tools and working on his desk between studies and class. He like you has learned to appreciate the time in hand tools. He will bring stuff home occasionally to work with more modern tools but like you also has felt the sense of accomplishment by working with his hands to get the desired results. Keep up the good work and hold your head up as you get older you will be able to get the things you want and need to keep the dream alive. For now study hard and do well in school it may make a difference later in life. Things will come at their own pace. Believe me don't hurry it. Good luck my friend!!!
