I think I like your version better than the original.
Very nice work Ulrik and welcome!
I've seen you kamisori in the SOTD section, they are stunning.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work here.

The copy is gorgeous and the repair is amazing. Thanks for showing,

Thank you very much for all your kind comments!

I was so happy myself that i could save the original... would have been a shame if this wonderfull piece was destroyed.

    cheers,
    Ulrik

Wow! I'm with Jimmy - I would not have thought that blade could be saved without lots of cosmetic damage. Very nice job! The replica is beautiful as well.

    Rise from the Dead Thread!!

I can't believe I've never seen this thread....11 years later and an origin story on my W&B Ottoman Egyptian & Royal Windsor.

You've come a long way baby....Ulrik was the Saviour all along....and was right here on the forum.

Hi MArk - been around, still shaving, love my straights, at some point think I may trim my collection down from 150-200 razors lol.

    How's things been with you?

Good mate, not buying as much shaving gear as I used to, I rotate about 10 - 15 razors now. I'm fortunate to have gotten a few holy grail razors some time ago. I could probably just use my W&B FBU and Iwasaki Tamahagane western and be happy.
