    It means I used to make them, but had stopped and wasn't going to make anymore, but it does seem to be a bit of a void for us here in OZ, thus my idea that can't be spoken of outside of PM's. Sales and research talk is not allowed. I suppose if there was a hypothetical discussion on' If you could own a 'roo hide strop, would you?' it might pass the test, but I don't know.

    I do already(not from Mick), and its nice.
    I suspect that should strops appear they would be well received.

    Okay then thats a shame i would love a 3 roo strop. Since im in the market for my first strop

    Alternatively, all you boys looking for a roo strop could get your heads together in a PM and chip in for a hide together. Making a strop out of roo is really easy. Tarting it up to make it look good might be a different matter, but a basic strop with D-rings each end is a piece of cake.

    Agreed easy to do. Unfortunately on wrong side of country to get the hide and unsure of exact way to then cut and divide that hide. That ruler you go probably helps too. All I have is a large spirit level
