    It won't make any difference to your razors edge. Latigo will probably have more 'draw' to it. Draw is the resistance felt while stropping. Almost like the leather is sucking the razor down. So Latigo feels like it is holding onto the razor as you strop. Some people like this, others just find it a little more tiresome on the fingers and wrist. It's a personal choice in the end. Perhaps go for the Bridle leather as a first strop. My personal choice is for a strop with a bit of draw, but I started out with a strop that had none, and in hindsight it was probably a good starting point.

    I got my razor,brush and soap today dam that was fast shipping from mensbiz!!! Im very happy i will need to get it honed and sharpened. Im very happy with the products now i need my right hand to get better so i can start learning to use it. I will be asking my nonno for tips as he has been using a straight since he lived in italy and was a barber there and here in australia. I may be able to source a few razors from him as his eyes are not the best now and uses a safety razor.

    Well! A barber in the family huh?! Can't hope to get better advice than from one of those I'd reckon.

    Haha see how it goes as he probably will not tell me everything. Will contact onimaru55 to see if he can sort the razor out for me
