They're most definitely trained mate. She had a good touch, obviously knew what she was doing and was feeling for direction of growth on the second pass to make it as smooth as possible. In the end she got it about as good as I do it myself, but I knew I would suffer for it with those Derby's in play. Yes I could have taken one of my own razors in, perhaps a 5/8 since I wouldn't have been the one wielding it, but I didn't want to make a bigger fool of myself than I usually do. I suppose I could have just asked (and still could via their face book site) if they would use a customers razor instead of a Shavette, but the Shavette, to me was part of the experience. I've never had one of those used against me before .

you might be allowed to supply your own blade for the shavette next time, well if there is a next time elsewhere.

I won't say it won't be on the cards, but I will say, I won't be paying for it if it is.

I am guessing you are hard to buy for too? How did they mess up a clipper haircut?

They left it long ('long' being relative here) on top and said to style with the use of baby powder. I admit I agreed with it in the beginning as I did give the girl free rein to do as she pleased with what I had to offer, but after a couple of weeks I was looking like I was sporting some kind of retarded, wannabe Mohawk, that chose to lay flat and stick out from my forehead like I was carrying a surfboard strapped to the top of my head, but became said Mohawk again when I ran my hand over my head. I couldn't escape looking stupider than I really am, so I did the only smart thing I could and gave myself the haircut that I really wanted.

P.S I'm easy to buy for, just send me a heap of money and I'll prove it!

Styling with babypowder? I reckon they thought you were a mohawk, surfboard head half retard when you walked in.
Short haircuts only last a few weeks anyway don't they?

Well now Ed, that depends on how short, and how long is too long.

I suppose I will have to give you that one, mine starts looking a bit scruffy after 3 or so weeks, but I can leave it a few months before I have to do something about it.
You know I was joking in my last post don't you, I am sure they didn't think you were a mohawk surfboard head.

Yes I did know, and I am sure that if they did think that, that they would have kept it to themselves...The amount of people who tell me I look scary (I just love being slapped into a mould and stereotyped) when they finally realise I'm not going to murder them, beggars belief!

Well we can't help how we look can we. Would you like to borrow my pixie costume, actually you might just look a bit scarier in that.
