A wedge to spare?
I've got 2 razors, and they're both full-hollow grinds. I've been wanting to try a heavier blade, a wedge or near wedge. I was wondering if anyone in Aus has this sort of razor sitting around (unloved and unused) that they wouldn't mind lending to me? I'll cover the shipping
I'd never ask to borrow a beloved blade, so this is just on the off chance that there's a member out there with this type of razor in the back cupboard somewhere... I'm trying not to buy before I try - which is difficult in this hobby
Thanks all!

My only wedge is a 3/8 trimmer. Probably not what you're looking for.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 203Covered - i have a smiling Frederick Reynolds wedge re-scaled in hardwood. Lovely shaver. Can spare it for a little. Will check the measurement when i get home but i think it is a 7/8". If you want i also have a Dubl Duck 4/8 wedge i could loan you to play with as well. Just careful closing that one as i still have it in the original scales which are warped, as they famously do, and will hit the scale if you do not manually guide it. One day i may re-scale it.
i will pack it in that stuff i am already sending you.
AdamRespectfully,
Adam.
