Honestly mate I thought you were just looking at the table of good stuff laid out. It was a good evening that will have to happen again. And none of us look like our avatar. I was especially hoping Batman was going to show up in uniform, that I would see my first Tasmanian Devil, but alas t'was not to be.
I was really just scratchin' an itch mate! Damn goatee does that sometimes ya know

I think you should sign up Mark and be done with it mate. Stop hiding in the shadows and introduce yourself to the rest of the crowd mate. It'd be good to have your thoughts, questions and ideas on subjects.

I think it should be noted for those that weren't there, that we sure were getting a few looks from other customers in the Coffee Club. And that window just out of shot to the right, had a few worried looking faces looking through as they walked past too. One lady in particular looked like she thought there was going to be a massacre about to take place. Very amusing to see peoples reactions.
Only one lady actually took the time to find out what we did. Even asking if it was a barbers convention we were holding. She was most surprised to hear that men still actually shaved with Cut-Throat razors today. I think her husband may be getting a chat about trying out a Cut-Throat razor for himself sometime soon. Perhaps we should try and make this a more regular occurrence. A quarterly get together perhaps? Same bat place, same bat time? (No pun intended there Adam)

Quarterly sounds about right, and the venue was very good.

I did enjoy the looks on the faces of the other costumers as they saw that not only did we have the razors out but that we were handling them.

It was a lot of fun to attach faces to names, and to pass around the goodies.

it's great to see the meet n greet was a good one for all
Like the thought of quarterly meet n greet sessions
Every little bit helps to spread the word on SRP

I wonder how the Coffee Club would like the thought of displaying the good name of SRP
Maybe we could coerce them to allow us to put our name on the wall
Has there been any feedback from the Coffee Club?

Perhaps we could print a certificate of appreciation with some choice wording on it
Something like this :

Coffee Club is a proud supporter of Straight Razor Place - Brisbane Branch
Where the real gentlemen go for their Straight shaving needs.
Add a couple of nice Razor photos, or shave of the day type photo
Maybe toss the idea around for a while and see what comes out
