    Default Australian Chat?

Being a small chat junkie myself, I was wondering whether us Aussies (and yeah, OK, Kiwis too) could informally organise a semi-regular Australian chat one day each week or so. It might be nice to get to know each other a bit better in the less formal chat setting, and swap info about razors and stuff in our part of the world.

If we pick a night, our time, it is unlikely we would interrupt the users from the more abundant longitudes.

Anyway, just a thought to bandy about. I haven't checked with anyone if it is OK, but given we have an inside man in Oz, it might have legs if people are interested.

How do you propose this chat would work. IRC a thread or something else?

If you use IRC we can set up an ozchat or oz-srp etc room and it wouldn't disturb anyone else

You could just use the SRP chat, some of us in another parts of the world is awake at odd hours sometimes too...

Well I was thinking the standard IRC we have. I think if we wanted to it should be reasonably straightforward to set up another room.

    Yeah, that would be interesting...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I am boring and tend to repeat the same things a lot.

I think the main chat room would be OK - there are not that many of us, and it would not be formal like say the restoration chat. It would just be "if you are around, pop into SRP chat" on a particular day and time. Like Blix said, that way we could still interact with all the international chatters if they are awake.
