Thanked: 485They're ALL the same woman, it's like a Matrix sort of thing...They may look different, and go by different names, but they're all one person. Which I guess means there's a lot (or was a lot) of group sex going on...I think the single woman that exists is breeding us men and doing experiments on us to choose the perfect partner.
I'm apparently a 'throw away'...Quality control issues I think...Hair loss, some deformity of shape, surface segregation and all that
I believe I'm to be recycled shortly into new carbon atoms...Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

There used to be a shop that stocked wet shaving gear in Adelaide arcade years ago, and a small selection in the 'men's' shop in cityx. I have been away from Radelaide for too long though.
I'd also try barbers - my local (well not local but worth the drive) has Astra blades, proraso & pinaud, etc. A new one I found last weekend had heaps of mugs. Even my local chemist stocks feather DE blades & styptics... Keep your eyes open

Thanked: 485Thanks Bob, I did try a barber's shop in Adelaide arcade a little while ago; I think they had like three shaving creams. I'll try City Cross, good info re barber's shops, there's a 'traditional' one on the way to the City...

Thanked: 983Futher to the Pinaud Clubman efforts, I had another email from Chris at Himage.com yesterday and here is what he said:
Hi Mick
Hope all is well, sorry it has taken me so long to come back on this one but we have been trying a few options to see if there is any way we could bring Pinaud on-board.
As it turns out, they have a relationship with a wholesaler in Australia who we would need to buy through (we tried to go direct with them but unfortunately they won’t do).
Somehow the wholesalers price is A$31 wholesale per product which retails in the US at some places for US$6. I don’t understand the pricing at all & at A$31 wholesale it isn’t something we will entertain, people will think we are criminals even if we were to retail it at A$31 when they can compare to the US$6 price. It makes sense to us now why no-one in Australia is stocking it. We try where we can to import directly to cut out these middle-man add-ons but unfortunately in this case we don’t have a work-around.
These guys ClubmanOnline.com do ship to Australia but at a cost of A$35 which again makes it pretty restrictive, you will end up paying 6+ times the price being paid in the US. If you could get 10-20 people to do a group buy it may bring the cost down to something more reasonable.
Sorry we weren’t much help on this one but the numbers are a bit crazy for our liking.
Cheers
Chris
So, it looks like it is just going to be one of those things.

Damn. Well, that explains why you never see it here then.
I'll have to ration my bottle until I can get to the states again.
You can get it on ebay, but the postage makes it still expensive, a lot less than $35, but still.Last edited by Legion; 03-02-2012 at 01:26 AM.

Another good cheap one, that smells a bit like clubman, and costs SFA over there, is Mennan Skin Bracer. I wonder if he would have more luck with that?
If I'd known all this when I was travelling I would have bought a lot more.
The retail stores all don't seem to want to ship it because of the alcohol. I ordered some Indian Old Spice yesterday, so I'll see how that goes through customs.
