I was going to post that one up next Rick. Glad to see it here. It started just before my time, but it still affected me, as I lost an Uncle to the effects of that one.
    Here's another from Redgum anyway.

It was a bit before my time too Mick.
This one is a tribute to all who went there
My Dad went to Vietnam when I was 11 years old.
A very changed man when he came back
A war we never understood then, and only a little now.
    Thanks for sharing.

Would it be against site rules to show a link to an Aussie music site here.
I am also asking their permission to show a link here.
Just want to be sure I don't upset things

HELL, those of that were there didn't understand it.

Tell your Dad THANKS from a Texas yank.

FYI, PTSD sux the large one.

I expect your Dad has it. It's not his fault. Love him in spite of it, because it hurts him far worse than it does those around him and I KNOW it can hurt those around.

Thanks for the kind words Wulie
I'm sure PTSD is a daily part of my Dads life
Like so many of his generation he will only open up about this to people who were there
    I guess that's life

An old favourite of mine. I used to sit at Dad's feet while we listened to this song (amongst many others).
