Thanked: 235Australia, here we come, A?
So my wife and I, and our nine month old daughter are flying to Australia late tomorrow night. We are off to my mother's 60th birthday. This is a trip I have done this trip many times, but this will be my first time traveling with the whole family. As the time of departure gets closer I am getting more and more aprahensive. The whole idea of how to take a baby on a plane without sending the other passengers and ourselve insane is worrying enough, but now the nine month old has come down with a tummy bug and has diarhea. I'm not expecting a relaxing flight.
But I am looking forward to having a chance to look through some real antique shops when I am in Oz.
Cheers,
Nathan

Good luck and enjoy...as far as the kid is concerned...just see what happens..no need stressing about it before hand..who knows maybe there will be alot of sleeping for the child along the way...just deal with it as it comes...There is only so much you can try to control.

Thanked: 983Nah, Nathan is heading way south of me. He's off to Gippsland. It's sort of like the mountains of Tennesee, Carolina, Virginia used to be like with all them hillbilly's, except it's much flatter, and has more hillbilly's
.

Thanked: 235As for the flight, my daughter slept for most of the flight. There was only one nappy that needed changing and one episode of screaming and squealing.
