I think the world ends there a little bit before it does in our timezones as well.
May be Mr. Obama will have a press conference on the subject too, just gotta wait for the sun to come around.

Ya know, I'll bet ya a dollar to a doughnut that a bunch of people are gonna die on that day, regardless of World ending or not. Isn't there a mountain in France that is upside down? The bottom being older than the top. They have been running people off from there all year for fear that they will try to off themselves at the site. You just know there's some cult full of wack-a-do's just waiting for some big event to punch their tickets to the next side. For example, the Heaven's Gate bunch, hitchin' a ride on the tail of that comet some years ago. It's been years since we've had a cult die off, we're about due.

It was the end of the world in Australia sometime in the early 80's, just after Led Zep split up and they made drinking flagons of apple cider at the drive-in and driving home illegal...

I posted about this on my facebook page and was wondering why no one had got around to sending out invites to an End of the world party. I suggested that the friendless hold theirs on the 22nd to save being upset by the lack of people turning up.

I've been in California my whole life. I can't count the times we were supposed to slide into the sea. I don't think I'll lose too much sleep over it. Besides, I've tried to adopt a mindset not to let things I have no control over bother me.
