So blokes. Why are you here? Honestly. You've got your shaves down pat, you've learnt all you really need to learn. So what is it that is making you hang around like the proverbial fly? What draws you to log in, yet again? Be honest now. I don't want any fluffy, feel good answers unless it's the truth (in which case I'm going to suspect your sexuality. And you know it don't you?! Yeah! You know who you are. I'm looking at you yes. )

Personally, I only check in here because I think you guys are all nuts. It's just cheaper than driving 85 miles to the local Mental Hospital. In addition to that, I know I can always leave here, and I'm no longer sure about getting back out of that hospital.

Okay Mick.. from the hip, I work for the US goverment in a huge US Navy town, and having spent a few years in the Navy I still need to feel apart of something. So most of the time when I tell someone that I shave with a straight razor.. I get that look (You know the one ). Now shaving is not a big part of my life but it something that I do almost daily, so it's nice to find a groupe of people that KNOW what it is I'm talking about it's like when I talk shop or the Navy or cars or hunting. you know? that since of belonging.
Also the threads about Tea? "Absolutely Edifying" learned things I wanted to know but did know I did. Pens, Scotch,Shave dens lots of good Clean stuff. Love it.
I also LOVE to go into the galleries and look at the work you and the other masters put out and dream of "One Day"

I stick around just trying to join the 10K club, which at my current post rate of 1.16 posts per day, I should be able to join the club in roughly 20.087 years.

At first it was to learn everything I wanted about a straight from the shave to making them.
